How do people celebrate on the day of the tragedy on September 11, 2001? How do people remember that day? How do people born on that day react to it in the future? Up until September 11 it has been the deadliest terrorist attack on American soil. Some people could say different that this had been the deadliest terrorist attack on American soil, but some may agree it had been the most deadliest terrorist attack on American soil. The deadliest event that happened before 9/11 is when, people watched the abduction and murder of Israeli athletes during the Munich Olympics in 1972. My family celebrates September 11 like it’s any other day, even though it's actually not. In fact, some people celebrate in totally different ways. Aimee Lee the author of “A Day to Dance or Weep?” wrote about Holly Hotchner who states what she does to celebrate September 11 (Lee 2). Holly Hotchner bought a big tin of caviar and a quantity of vodka. “And that is a tradition I've continued” she said. “Although the tin has gotten smaller I spent too much that year.” This is one example of a different type of celebration people do to celebrate September 11. In addition, I interviewed my sister since she is born on September 11. I asked her the following question, “How do you think you will celebrate your birthday in the future?” She answered by the following, “ I will celebrate it with colors red, white, and blue; I will stay home because that’s a day when people are sad about what happened.” Aimee Lee the author of “A Day to Dance or Weep?” wrote an article about Catherine Karp. Some people born on September 11 decide to celebrate their birthday on a different day since that day is so tragic (Lee 4). For example, Catherine Karp doesn't think it feels right to celebrate on her actual birthday, which is September 11. Catherine Karp considered celebrating her birthday on September 10 or 12. “But that doesn't seem right,” she said. In fact Osama Bin Laden had been behind more attack attempts than just the attacks of September 11. In the article “September 11 Attacks” on the Britannica School website, it talked about Osama Bin Laden and his attack attempts. He also thought that the United States was weak. McDonnell Janet A., the author of “Responding to the September 11 Terrorist Attacks”, had wrote an article about Osama Bin Laden. Osama Bin Laden himself did not emerge as a signal threat until the late 1990s. (McDonnell 2) Bin Laden had a group of people helping him with his September 11 attack. In fact, he even had a code to let his other people know when the attack would occur. (Britannica School 3) In the morning of August 29, 2001, one of Bin Laden's people called other people from their clan and had him figure out a riddle. The riddle they had to solve was, “Two sticks, a dash and a cake with a stick down - what is it?” After figuring out the riddle they found out that the attacks would occur in two weeks- the two sticks being the number 11 and the cake with a stick down a 9. Putting the riddle together, it meant that the attacks would occur September
