I turn twenty-one on September 23rd. I’ve had a pretty good life for the past twenty years. I’m not really one to travel, but, yes I’ve always wanted to see a lot of the world. I’ve gone to Disney 3 times now. Once for a day when I was in 7th grade. Another time was a week in junior year of high school, and the third time was just this past summer in July. With being at Disney you see the positivity and the happiness of workers. It’s amazing how happy everyone is that you meet there. I always wanted to get engaged at Disney World. I know it’s something cliché and a lot of people do it, but c’mon it’s the happiest place on Earth?! I was never one for the beaches or the sand or the dirty water here in Buffalo. Bora Bora on the other hand has been a place I wanted to travel to for years now. I’ve been with my boyfriend for a year now. We talk about the future and I can see my future with him. The amount of country concerts I’ve want to, truly makes me so happy. One place I’ve always wanted to visit is Nashville, Tennessee. Well one of my wishes came true, I get to visit Nashville for my 21st birthday in September. I’m going with my dad, boyfriend, and best friend. I get a VIP concert on my 21st birthday to see Sam Hunt too! I’m so insanely excited. Especially since Sam Hunt is one of my favorite artists and I get to experience all of this with my favorite people. I hope to see at least 5 celebrities in Nashville! I hear so many stories that you see celebrities in bars as if it’s nothing! Seeing my favorite country artists would mean so much to
Well, I’ll be playing with Corey Wagar tonight at The Stone Pony for starters. Its gonna be a “Nashville meets New Jersey” sort of showcase band consisting of all top guys that play with all the national country acts like Taylor Swift, Sara Evans, Josh Turner and many others. This is probably gonna be their first introduction to the Jersey Shore and The Stone Pony so we hope everyone gives them a very warm welcome and makes them feel right at home. We are really excited to be able to make this happen in front of a hometown crowd.
Walt Disney has brought two theme parks to life because of his imagination. He never stopped chasing his dreams, even if they seemed impossible. Walt Disney World came after Disneyland and it is located in Florida. Disney World is known to be the "most magical place on earth" and the place "where dreams come true". Many people haven't been to the park, so they might be skeptical of the "magic" that is held within. Walt Disney World is the "most magical place on earth" because of the rides, characters, shows, the electrical parade, Wishes Nighttime Spectacular, and the infinitely growing attractions.
Special Event Assignment On September 23, 2017, I attended the Luke Bryan, Brett Eldridge, and Granger Smith concert. It took place in Dallas, Texas at the Starplex Pavillion. I attended the event to listen to well-known country artists preform. Going into the concert I had high expectations, but after observing details of the event, I was a little disappointed.
The next stop is Nashville, the home of country music and the Grand Ole Opry. It began as a simple radio broadcast in 1925 but has turned into a worldwide phenomenon. The Opry showcases country music legends and popular contemporaries.
This year, our Marching Band received the chance to visit to Nashville, Tennessee, where we encountered the different musical culture they developed. Starting the trip, the band attended The Grand Ole Opry, a concert where several talented country musicians performed live in a giant hall. A fascinating experience, we learned about the musician’s lives through their music and what they consider everyday aspects of their lives that people don’t have farther up north. Moreover, one of the band members won the opportunity to participate in a dance-off onstage during one of the breaks, something the entire band celebrated in camaraderie. I felt a since of patriotic country pride while I was there, even though I have never really immersed myself in that genre. I was originally drawn to this event because it was a free concert for me to attend with my friends. Not to mention I got to dress up in a cute dress and some cowboy boots that were still in the box. As the night went on I could see for others, they were there because they loved this music. You could see they were active listeners who knew all the words to the songs as they sung along. In his songs he sings a lot about love, relationships, breakups, hitting rock bottom and living the American dream. These themes can identify with both males and females. Females are more drawn to his music because he is a younger attractive looking man and when he performs he makes it feel like he is singing to you. Men are also attracted to these themes because he sings about events that they can personally relate too. Not to mention in general the songs are very catchy and memorable. You can find yourself singing the lyrics without even realizing what you are singing about. Overall, I feel like this experience would have been different if it was held in a different place and time with different participants. She recalls her favorite concert of all time being at Bonnaroo in 2014 watching Vampire Weekend with her two friends while watching the sunset over the Tennessee hills. Sarah described the music festival as busy because of the lineup that year of Kanye West, Elton John, Jack White, Lionel Richie, The Avett Brothers, and Frank Ocean who were artists that brought in a huge crowd of many different types of people. Sarah states, “There were a lot of people, a lot different things going on, a lot of variety of people. Bonnaroo is known for being pretty hippie so you get that kind of vibe there.”
In 2009, my parents and I decided to travel to San Antonio, Texas for vacation. My parents and I have traveled there before, but we enjoyed it so much that we decided to go back. With many places to see and do; my parents thought that we should go to Six Flags Fiesta Texas. It was at this theme park, where something happened that I would never forget.
As I walk towards the ocean with the sand warm beneath my feet, the waves lap at my ankles, seeming as if they want to pull me out to sea. The sun rises over the horizon, reflecting off the waves and shimmering like gold. The salt air smells tangy as it stings my nose with the smell I crave while I am away from the ocean. The Outer Banks in North Carolina has been my favorite place to go from my first memories. I look forward to going there every summer because there at the ocean I feel at home. It is a place where I can forget every stress in my life and be totally at peace. It is a place where my family can spend time together, not like at home where we all have activities and places to be. The Outer Banks is not a beach where the ocean is forgotten; there is no partying and no boardwalks, nothing but nature to fill your days there. The beach is not crowded to the point where it is hard to even walk to the beach ,and looking for shells is not even an option. This beach is a very peaceful and surreal place. The noises of people do not overwhelm you at this beach; all you can hear are the sea gulls and the waves.
This island is indubitably one of the most celebrated in the Pacific Ocean. This island is known for their top notch resort hotels in which the bungalows are located into. These last include glass floors that provide a view to the lagoon life underneath. Of course Bora Bora is not only a resort, if you decide to venture out of it, you can visit the local villiage of Vaitape and take part of the activities that that entails: shopping at their boutiques, dining at one of the local restaurants or going on a guided hike through mount
Everyone who has ever been to Disney World thinks it’s going to be the vacation of a lifetime but when we went it was the vacation from Hell!
I was already to go to the concert! My mom and I drove to Philly where Justin Bieber was holding his show in the Wells Fargo Center. We had dinner at Xfinity Live, where they have enormous televisions!! I got delicious cheeseburger with sweet potato fries it tasted like heaven. While my mom and I were eating our dinner, there was a horse race.
If someone were to ask people ever wanted to see almost every artist from any genre of music in one place? Of course, anyone would say yes, because most people haven't been to an event like the huge one that happens in California each year. This is an event many people save up all year to attend just maybe once in their life time. The Coachella Music and Arts Festival, it is one of the most talked about festivals that this generation knows about. It is like a whole new world for most people each time they attend.
...autiful and exciting place. The water is unlike any other body of water that I had ever laid my eyes upon. Worthy of the nickname ‘God’s swimming pool”, it has a seemingly endless horizon that reaches as far as the eye can see. The sand is so fine and powdery and it amazes me at how it can change textures with just a little bit of water. Perhaps the most amazing part of the beach is the vast array of wildlife that inhabits the area. From fish to crabs, you will never see the same creature twice. Each animal has their own distinct characteristics which make it exciting to explore and try to find more. My favorite place in the world is definitely the beach and I highly recommend visiting and seeing it with your own two eyes. It is an infinite world of expression, a paradise of color. There is no possibility of disappointment when it comes to the serenity of the ocean.
