Differences in a Partnership that Make Living Together Difficult

There are perks in living with a partner; however, there are also disadvantages. In today’s American society it seems like dating is only good practice for divorce and in present day most partnerships are not justified through marriage. Some couples do get married and never divorce, but if asked if marriage is easy they would quickly inform every one of the difficulties. Because of the differences in communication, sexual needs, and the way men and women handle responsibilities, it is usually difficult for a man and woman to live together.

The difference of communication between a woman’s point of view and a man’s point of view often makes living together very challenging. Acrimonious behavior, such as raising the tone of voice, is a significant cause of dispute, especially if both; the man and woman, are yelling. A lot of times stupid questions also provoke acrimonious behavior. For example, a stupid question asked by the masculine figure in the relationship would be; where he left his keys, because he and he alone is the one who put them down. In addition, expletive remarks are particularly common deal breakers for relationships; specifically, using profane language and saying things while having altercations. Those things are things that cannot be taken back. When couples cannot communicate appropriately, relationships usually end in catastrophe, or an unpleasant experience.

...For couples with children, which are above all the highest level of responsibility that could be taken on, child care responsibilities should be shared on a daily basis. Not only for your partner, but for the bonding experience you get with your children such as; feeding, dressing, and changing a small child. Responsibilities are very played down in relationships today, and without sense of responsibility living together is difficult for anyone.

In essence people shout put a lot thought into taking a relationship to the next level by living together. Communication, sexual relations, and responsibilities are all very important struggles men and women face after moving in together. Even if the relationship has lasted through years of sleepovers, living together and sharing everything is completely different and could cause serious problems and unstable relationships.
