Love is a friendship that has caught fire. Love is an intense feeling of deep affection. This concept is one of the more complicated concepts because it can either be an amazing good thing or a terrible thing. Love can make someone happy or can tear someone's heart & life apart. People fall in “love” and expect to spend the rest of their life with a person and most the time that’s not how it works because in today’s day and time we throw the word I love you around like it’s candy and a word that means nothing when really it’s a word that means everything. Love is something you feel when you care deeply about someone. Love is felt in many different situations. One of the most common ways for people to feel love is love within a friendship. At the beginning of a friendship you aren’t going to say “I love you” or you will but you won’t actually mean it. Some people might disagree, but you can’t fall in love overnight. Many people have different perspectives when it comes to the topic of love. The word love has been tossed around by everybody and not very many people really understand the true meaning of love. There are some exceptions, but I think this is especially true for teenagers and young adults. I might be one of those people who do not fully understand the topic of love, but I hope to better understand the topic of love and its true meaning is this course.
