What makes someone a true friend? How they treat others, or maybe what activities they take an interest in? Each person defines true friendship in their own way. For example, if someone likes to do adventurous things such as hiking or repelling, they might define friendship as someone to go hiking with. Usually, people have a lot of friends and these friends fall into a few different categories. Overall, true friendship is very valuable, people tend to take friendship lightly, and friendship and interaction with others is necessary to life.

When friends get taken for granted, they “un-friend” those others because they would rather hang out with someone that treats them nicely. This happens quite a lot, and it makes both of the people involved very sad. However sometimes it is for the best when friends breakup. For example, if both friends do not agree with each other and conversations become heated arguments all of the time, a parting of ways might be beneficial. Overall, friends often get taken for granted, and it can lead to a breakup.

Moreover, a healthy life requires friendship. Every day, most people interact with others either over the internet, in person, or through letters. It can be dangerous if people do not interact with others at least every three days. At home, if said people live by themselves they need to interact with other human beings otherwise they will have no friends, and eventually go into a depression. Obviously other things cause people to go into a depression, but loss of loved ones and failure of interaction with others usually become two of the top causes.
