Good decision making is very vital for any success to be achieved in an organizational setup. Good decision making is also one of the key indicators of effective leadership. By being able to make timely and well-considered decisions, the leader is able to inspire and lead his or her team to the desired goals. No matter the size of the company, good decision making is necessary to ensure that the company is able to overcome difficult times (Bazerman & Moore, 2012). The management of Radio Flyer has shown a high degree of competence as far as good decision making is concerned. Starting from its founder, Antonio Pasin to the current CEO, Robert Pasin (great-grandson of the founder), the leadership at Radio Flyer has shown one of the greatest standards when it comes to good decision making. Antonio Pasin is accredited with creating the rich heritage of Radio Flyer. Over the years, the company has grown and transformed the lives of the people around it (Spors, 2009). It strives to rediscover itself with every new generation that comes along. The great leadership skills portrayed by the founder of this great company have been passed down to all of its subsequent leaders as is evidenced through the able leadership portrayed by Robert Pasin. Whenever things are smooth, there is little for management team to be engaged in. However, when things are not going the right direction, an opportunities to showcase good decision making arises. The management is forced to decide on whether to hire or fire workers, investing in new technology or machines, venturing into new product lines or closing some and on how to raise the necessary finances for company operations.
