Due to the fact, that the main town has narrow streets, lined with boutiques, restaurants, and cafes, there is a huge influx of pedestrians, thus, the importance for education and enforcibiity about safe driving is crucial. In the downtown area, the speed limit is 25 MPH, and on the outskirts of Danville, the speed limits range from 30-45 MPH. The town council makes traffic enforcement a priority by instilling safety and appropriate behavior while driving in Danville.
