The gates to the citadel creaked open. A hooded figure in a black, leather cloak lurked within the shadows. As she walked her footsteps echoed as each cobblestone whispered her name. Kneeling her cracked knees to the newly crowned Queen she lifted her red hood unveiling her face. “I’m looking for my daughter” “The Lady Morganna”. Queen Guinevere gasped terror marked on her face. “She’s dead”. “I don’t understand… how?” Vivienne said biting her lip trying to remember her daughter, the way she used to smile when she was a baby. Her throat was constricted. Blood was pounding in her ears. Every muscle feeling strained. “Where is she?” Vivienne retorted. “I’m sorry My Lady, she had magic and used it for the wrong intentions, there’s nothing more we could do” Gauis revealed from besides Gwen. Stepping into the abyss she saw Morgana’s lifeless body on the ground. Her eyes wide with horror, her mouth rigid and open. In her intense silence she screamed in agony piercing a hole in her brain. “Please, I need your help” she called to the druids. Iseldir the druid leader arrived holding the cup of life which she stole. Cleansing it with the holy water and a pinch of her blood Vivienne forcefully shoved it down Morganna’s throat. Slowly, piercing the blade out of Morganna as her soul wailed. It was sort of an ancient ritual. “Welcome back My Lady” Iseldir spoke. “Mordred” Morgana said breathing heavily. The throne was now hers. With Arthur dead she just needed to get Gwen and Merlin out of the way. It was a day’s walk but the pain she was in was unbearable. The water had done something to her; changed her in a way that was so complex that not even she could understand it. “Thankyou Morganna” Mordred smiled at her as she caressed her glossy, black hair behind her ears. The wall flickered as a naked flame danced a wild tune and the Djinn hid within the dark embers of the room. Aithusa had flown threw the window; his wing shattered, his translucent white scales getting finer and less thick on his underbelly. His scales were gemlike the colour of clouds. Now, on the end of his tail was a spiked ball blazing bright as ever like a flickering flame. As ever, Morganna stroked Aithusa with fondness and deep affection. As they finally reached Camelot Morganna revealed to Guinevere her true identity. “Hello Gwen” she said shocking a startled Guinevere. “Did you really think you were going to kill me and save your precious Arthur?” she said. As she stood there, she felt it. That weird burning coursing through her veins. Except this time it was stronger. The fire in her body raging like a wild tempest.
