Psychology is the study of the human mind and explains why people behave in certain ways. I am going to describe and analyse six different psychological theories to health and social care. I will first explain the behaviourist approach which is “a way of explaining behaviour in terms of what is observable and in terms of learning” (AQA Psychology Book, 2015).
