Tales of courage from ancient times are still important today since they educate people about the past and readers can learn about what prominent figures did in history to stand up for themselves. Two of these stories are Hatshepsut: His Majesty Herself, and The Book of Exodus. The story Hatshepsut shows a queen who's a positive female role model and becomes successful, while The Book of Exodus is about the Hebrews standing up to their oppressors. Amazingly, today, both of these stories still motivate people and inform them more about courage and values. In the story of Hatshepsut: His Majesty Herself, it talks about how Hatshepsut stood up for herself and followed her ambitions. Hatshepsut took her chance and rose up to be pharaoh, even though it was unusual for women to do so at the time; showing her courage.
