With the surge of technology and social media in the past couple decades it is nearly impossible to be unaware of a big time movie release, and the opening weekend of the film being the pivotal moment. Batman v Superman was one of the most highly anticipated films of the year and with its release came everyones thoughts, whether it be a random person with a twitter account or well known movie critic. In some of the articles I came across reviewing the movie many of the critics appeared to take strong stances on the movie with the overall consensus being pretty negative. Throughout the articles some of the authors mentioned how Gadots’ Wonder Woman was the most exciting part of the film and a gleaming light of hope moving forward with the DC landscape as Wonder Womans first ever feature is slated for a summertime 2017 release. Peter Travers of Rolling Stone stated that, ‘it's just that Gal Gadot's wowza of a Wonder Woman is the kick-ass revelation at this party. (Travers, ‘Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice’).” Although critics may have not been praising the story line of the film some felt as though Zack Snyder and editor David Brenner did a great job with the effects and overall look of the film, something Snyder has been known for in the past. “As a pure visual spectacle, however, “Batman v Superman” ably blows the hinges off the multiplex doors, and editor David Brenner does excellent work to comprehensibly streamline the chaos, (Barker ‘Batman v Superman’ Review).” Andrew Barker from Variety mentioned the effects aspect of the movie as in todays superhero movies effects is one of the biggest components that could possibly ruin the release if it is known you won't be amazed in some
