If someone asked me which of my two favorite restaurants I like the more, my response would be,
"Neither!" It is true that I enjoy them likewise equally, but for different reasons. Cocina Anna is my favorite place to go for excellent Mexican food. The restaurant is not in my town, also it is worth the twenty-minute drive. Because I have been there many times with friends, the host and servers know me by name and warmly are greeting me. I appreciate the fact that everyone who works there are actually from Mexico. They are proud of their cuisine, and they only serve authentic Mexican dishes with the freshest ingredients.
In the beginning, Burciaga provides a brief history when Taco Bell was established. First starting in Mexico City and then spreading throughout the United States, the chain sold “mild imitations of the real thing” (382). Many Mexican businesses and people protested against Taco Bell because unlike homemade tortillas made from hand, they used “prefabricated hard tortilla shells” (383) that tasted nothing like real Mexican tacos. Additionally, the restaurant also combines food and makes up names so that it appears different. From Enchiroto, a combination of a burrito and enchilada, to Cinnamon Crispas, known as bunuelos, Burciaga points out that “the Taco Menu can be a mystery if one is not familiar with the renamed food items” (383).
When it comes to picking out a restaurant with family or friends things tend to get complicated. One person might want to go to a steakhouse, while the other wants Italian. Choosing a restaurant should focus on the quality of the food, the pricing of the food, and the competitiveness of that restaurant to its competitors. Olive Garden is one of the most revered Italian-American restaurants in the United States compared to its leading competitor, Maggiano’s. Olive Garden leads in lower prices, food options, complementary food, and even has lighter options for the health conscious.
The menu can surly please anyone with their selection. Whether one is the mood for pizza, beef, pork, chicken, seafood, or pasta, Carrabba’s can satisfy anyone’s palate. If there is still room, there are many deserts a diner can choose from, such as tiramisu or a savory triple layer chocolate cake. The restaurant also offers gluten free and vegetarian options to accommodate anyone’s diet. Let’s not forget, Carrabba’s has a wide selection of Italian and California wine, as well as imported and domestic beers, which takes the customer around the world.
After an eventful night of dancing at nightclubs, I never expected to have the most flavorful tacos reach my mouth. At four in the morning we found ourselves at a small, local hole-in-the-wall where most tourists would not be caught dead at. Even though they were the greatest tacos I have ever had, what I ate most while I was there was tortilla soup. Topped with melted cheese and strips of fried tortillas I devoured a bowl from a place our friend Oscar worked at, Margarita Grille. I am not a soup person but this is something I still crave weekly, as well as the salsa they served. Fresh roasted tomatoes were crushed at our table and mixed with garlic, onions, jalapenos, cilantro and juices of a lime. A scoop of the colorful vegetables on a warm, salted tortilla chip will satisfy your taste buds and keep you going for more. Because Margarita Grille was only a couple blocks from our hotel in the “old town” of Puerto Vallarta, we ate there five or six times. Being an outdoor restaurant, there were always stray cats meandering around for scraps of dropped food. People were told not to feed them, but I think they were a pleasant reminder of being away from

Salsa comes from the South American region, mainly from the Spanish speaking countries(“History of Salsa Sauce”). Salsa is a well known dish that is made in many ways. In the original times, it was made with a coalescence of chilies, tomatoes, and other spices. The original way of making salsa has been altered since the beginning. It originated back in the times of the Aztec, Mayan, and Inca civilizations(“History Of Salsa Food”). According to “History of Salsa Sauce”, The origin of salsa came from the South American region, mainly from the Spanish speaking countries (Lifestylelounge,lifestyle.iloveindia.com/lounge/history-of-salsa-food). The Spanish people found tomatoes and they added the ingredient into the recipe.
Good evening. I would like to begin by welcoming each and every one of you to this joyous and stressful occasion.
Hispanic families have always made time to go to the panaderia in order to buy conchas for not only their families, but the families of others. The appearance of the sweet breads in Mexico was heavily influenced by the French and Spaniards. They were the ones who introduced baked goods and various pastries to indigenous people and inspired them to create many different varieties of Pan Dulce. Thanks to them, Mexicans and people visiting this country can enjoy these sweet treats every day! In Mexico City, bakeries are more plentiful with people than gas stations and grocery stores. An element of daily life, they service customers for breakfast, a midday bite post-lunch coffee breaks, and pre-dinner snacks. Savory loaves of bread are found at these bakeries, but more common and more plentiful are the pan dulces. It's a category of sweetened breakfast pastry that includes, by some estimates, up to 2,000 unique
Chipotle is my favorite place to eat. As I am sure it is for other people. Chipotle is a fast food Mexican grill. They are most known for how big they make your burritos. Now it is fast food but it isn’t actually fast, they’re like a restaurant but without the wait. They serve all naturally raised meat and organic beans. So there food is pretty healthy and worth eating. The employees are always nice and it just a great place to eat over all. Chipotle is a great choice for a quick fast food stop because it gives great service, atmosphere, food and value. My experience there is always a good one.
Mexican food is influenced by the ancient civilization. For examples the Mayans ate corn tortilla with a bean paste that covered the tortilla. The Aztec found out that mixing and squishing different types of vegetables makes a savory appetizer they call salsa. They also learned how to make what are now called tamales. When the Spaniards came they brought over milk, rice and other products that were new to Mexico. But have now remained in the cuisine.
One of the reasons why I love Mexico is because of the delicious food products they have. These food products are made in Mexico and are difficult to find in United States grocery stores. Therefore, I really like Mini Market Lupita which is located in Worthington Minnesota on Oxford street. This is a Mexican store that offers food product brands from Mexico it contains a bakery and a butcher shop. My family and I appreciate having a store like this in town because it provides the community a taste of Mexican food products. Along, with that these are three reasons why I like and recommend this store. Mini Market Lupita is a well-organized store that always has affordable prices and has a welcoming environment with an excellent array of Mexican food products.
The restaurant Aromas del Peru is sure one of the best restaurants to eat authentic Peruvian food. It is very popular as it has various locations throughout Miami. I went to the one located in Coral
My stomach growls. That familiar pang of hunger reminds me that it is time for lunch. A hot dog is what is on the menu. Do I want the savory taste of the Chicago dog or the hearty taste of the chili dog today? To make my decision, I will imagine myself tasting each one in its home state. The Chicago dog and the chili dog both have their tasty virtues, but they are distinctly different in buns, toppings, and condiments.
What is your favorite restaurant experience? What did you do the restaurant? What food did you order at the restaurant? Why is it your favorite restaurant?
... they have different toppings. It is a mix of America and Brazil. It is an American pizza with a Brazilian topping."
