The style of “Blues music” falls into various areas of what you may call iconic music. From the 20th century including artists such Chuck Berry, B.B. King, and Albert King. To more modern blues with artists such as Eric Clapton, John Mayer, and so many more to mention. Blues music has iconisized these artists and has allowed them to make fantastic music. And I have enjoyed listening to these specific artist. Chuck Berry: Chuck Berry was born on October 18th, 1926 in St. Louis Missouri. Having an early exposure to music drew effect in his life. Berry Became an influential representative of Rock and Blues music. Having a specific hit titled “Johnny B. Goode”, which you might recognize from the movie “Back To The Future” starring Michael J. Fox. Chuck Berry grew up with his parents Martha and Henry Berry. His father was an industrious carpenter as well as a deacon for the church they attended. During the time that Chuck Berry grew up, St. Louis was a segregated city.

After charged with robbery soon after dropping out of High School, Chuck Berry served three years in The Intermediate Reformatory for Young Men. A year after being released from the Reformatory, Chuck Berry married Thermetta “Toddy” Suggs. In 1951, Chuck Berry was asked by a former High School class mate too join his band. The band would play at local black clubs where Chuck Berry would strongly develop his playing. Chuck Berry met Jonnie Johnson, jazz pianist, and allowed him to join his band. In 1955, Chuck Berry, went across the country in search of being signed to a record label. He then went to Chess Records to record a song called “Maybellene” which was number 5 in the top hits. He then followed that with singles that would carve into the Rock and Roll, and blues he would play. Top hits he played included “Brown eyed handsome man”, “Roll over, Beethoven”, “ Johnny B. Goode”, and so many
