Kershaw with the delivery. Fastball inside half of the plate and it’s hit hard by Altuve. High, deep left center field and it’s 100,000 dollars for Altuve. In one game some baseball players make over 100,000. 8 That takes about 3 hours. In a week a tower climber makes less than a thousand dollars. Athletes do work hard, but they aren’t worth more than the risks normal people take during work. Sports is a favorite pastime of a lot of people, but even with the sacrifices and work athletes put in to their sport, they shouldn’t get millions for it. Some go a whole season or don’t have a big risk factor and are guaranteed millions when farmers and firefights aren’t getting paid and ¼ of that. Doctors save lives and save athletes careers and get paid less than 75 percent of MLB. That is plain doltish. It’s also unfair that the most taxing jobs on the body, get paid even less. One of the hardest jobs is a tower climber. They make around 52,000 dollar per year. The average MLB player makes 4 million dollars annually.
