Dear Ms. Wagner, 8/30/2016 I believe that I should be one of the few that gets to sit in a chair. Considering the fact that there will be multiple students writing this to you, I hope to persuade you into thinking that I should be able to sit in a chair. First of all, I think that I work hard inside of every class I can, and always try to do my best. Even though I may not be the best English student, I know that hard work can be rewarded. You can consider giving me a seat a reward. Supporting that, I imagine that it would be much easier to stay organized if I had a place to sit. Mainly because of the basket at the bottom of the chair, I can

I remember the first few days of move in. It was hot and gross. Georgia, Z, and Austin were the first to move in. The day the whole crew moved in was god damn shit show to say the least. I think I helped loft over half the floors' bed. The first house meeting was the only one with everyone there. I believe the first words out of my mouth were "Fuck It".
The United States should be the strongest country in the world. We, the Virginians and all other neighboring states should stand together to make it the best country, where people have dignity and freedom. In order to make our country better, we have to have a different way of ruling the country, we should have a stronger central government, where wise, politically educated, and experienced candidates are in our government, rather than average citizens make major decisions. Men are ambitious, “men are not angels”, as James Madison said. We, the founding fathers think realistically, not idealistically. If only one man from each state represented the states, the rate of making the wrong decision is way higher. Having a different type of government will allow you, the citizens and the government make the decisions for the country to enhance the rules and overall
Dear Coquille School District, I am writing you in regards to extending the length of our lunch period. It is currently only 30 minutes long which does not give us, as students, enough time to eat lunch. Especially if you are like me, and like to go home to eat lunch with your family. In some families, the family members work long hours and they don’t necessarily get to see one another very often. If students were given enough time it is very possible that they could enjoy their lunch with family members and enjoy quality time with them..
A group of mix-matched chairs is forced into a singular, tight space in the lobby. Anyone who enters and waits must wait in such close contact with those around them. Awkward silence is seemingly inevitable. People constantly remark about the little amount of sitting, making comments such as “if only we had a couch,” but they fix this problem by using the open area of the floor. While this goes against the design of the building, it works well and allows a larger group of students to interact.
Startled by the number of failing grades his students were receiving, principal David Chambers of Cantwell Sacred Heart of Mary High School in Montebello, California, made making up missed work a mandatory activity. The policy has produced more honor students, raised the average GPA, and improved teacher morale.Enter a study hall at middle school and you'll find students struggling to finish the chemistry lab due next period, gossiping about TV shows, or daydreaming about lunch. Study halls can be a useful break in the day allowing students to finish homework, study for an upcoming test, or simply relax listening to music and forgetting about the stress of classes. Yet, study hall rules and privileges can vary depending on the school and grade level.
Dear President Rouhani, I could not agree more with President Warren. Excuse me, Senator Warren. Mr. President, what has been happening in some of our countries in our region for the past days, weeks, months, years, and decades, are very much unfortunate, the hostages are included. But keep in mind the terrorist organizations can not change our world for the better, only for worst. We the leaders have the capability of such a godly, and divine act. President Obama, the First Lady, Vice President Biden, Senator Warren, and others have been known by me for some wonderful years now. Releasing some of their own during the holidays will be a wonderful start for a better relationship between all of our countries in our world on the God gifted planet of ours.
I'm not sure who to address but I thought the Mayor of our City, our District Supervisor and the Captain of my neighborhood's police station was a good start.
Why should kids be forced to sit in uncomfortable chairs where they can’t learn properly? Schools should have standing desks because it benefits kids in numerous ways. Standing desks keeps kids healthy and different types of seating lets kids collaborate with group work better. Also, flexible seating helps kids focus better.

Teachers have exerted extensive control over their classrooms. Each classroom and each teacher has a list of rules posted inside their classrooms or on the first or second page of the students’ binder. These rules make an effort to direct the behaviours of students by adjusting the way in which they conduct themselves so to create a controlled setting. Since there is only one teacher and an average of 30 students in a classroom, if limitations and rules are not put in place then chaos will be effortless. As a part of maintaining control, most classrooms are set up with a rigid order of seating or more generally called a seating plan. At the beginning of the school year, students choose a seat and that will be their station for the rest of the year. For approximately 75 minutes each day, students are confined in a quadrangle with a desk and chair and a class controller that teaches the norms and behavioural expectations in society. At the end of the day learners exit classrooms through one mode of exit which also doubles as an entrance. The inputting of rules, the utilization of stric...
I believe it is equally important to have a classroom that is student-centered. I do not imagine my classroom arranged with rows of seated desks all facing the front of the classroom. Instead, I think that students should have the opportunity to work amongst their peers in small groups, studying a wide array of topics. Students will not be required to focus their attention on on...
Seating arrangements, which include the location of the student’s seat, have been studies from a variety of perspectives. One area of emphasis is seat location and how the location of the student’s seat effects the student’s participation within the classroom and their academic performance. According to a study conducted by Bicard and his colleagues (2012), students seating arrangements is one of the easiest, most cost-effective classroom management strategies available to teachers to maximize the learning performance and behavior. Therefore, placing a great importance on the effects of seat arrangements on student academic performance and participation in the classroom.
Specific Purpose Statement: To persuade my audience that I should be the next school prefect
During the first day of school, a variety of different students enter the classroom. These students are excited and nervous, they have their parents by their sides who are observing the classroom walls and arrangement. From the minute the students enter the classroom, students are observing the classroom environment and notice the everything. Everything in the classroom needs to have a purpose, but provide a pleasant environment. When preparing and organizing the classrooms, teachers need to consider the different variables that impact the classroom. Classrooms can be disorganized if the walls are cluttered and have no meaning The organizations of the desks, the wall decorations, and the seating arrangements significantly impact the physical environments. Students are like sponges, they soak up everything that surrounds them. In the article A comparison of actual and preferred classroom environments as perceived by middle school students in the Journal of School Health stated “studies have shown that classroom environments are closely related to a number of aspects of student
