“You are a liar. I am no more a witch than you are a wizard, and if you take away my life God will give you blood to drink.” Those were Sarah Good’s last words before she was hung on Tuesday July 19, 1692. Sarah was just one of the victims of the Salem Witch trials, but we don’t know if these accusations are true. All we know is that people were hung with some pretty pesare motives.
Christa R. has it all – a picture-perfect, fairytale life: The head cheerleader and class salutatorian in high school, valedictorian in community college, married to a multi-millionaire who is about to inherit the family’s company, and currently works as a hematology oncologist at Moffitt Cancer Center, while pursuing her fourth (or maybe it was fifth – I lost count) Bachelor’s degree with a 4.0 GPA. She has been an honorable speaker at many prestigious medical conferences, and has had the opportunity to travel to Austria, Cuba, China, etc. for her studies and for her career. With all of this in mind, one would be compelled to believe that Christa is determined, hard-working, and a good role model. She does, however, have one major flaw. Christa

They in turn will consult the ICD-10 and DSM-5, which specify the symptoms of various psychological disorders. I note from your email that Miss Edmunds has been to see her GP regarding her symptoms, and that as a result she has been treated for depression. From my understanding of the condition, I would also suggest Miss Edmunds’ symptoms are consistent with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), given that she has been suffering from recurrent nightmares of the event (PTSD is considered an RPI). I would therefore suggest that you advise Miss Edmunds to speak to her GP again, with a view to receiving a referral to her local Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) team - as medically trained professionals specialising in the treatment of mental health conditions, they will be best placed to confirm or refute such a diagnosis. Furthermore, I believe we should instruct a recognised professional of adult psychiatry to carry out an independent report of Miss Edmunds’ symptoms, as it will be possible to use such a report as evidence should any claim proceed to trial and believe it unlikely that the court would challenge such a statement. As a result, I see no difficulty in proving to the court that Miss Edmunds was indeed suffering from an

The primary diagnosis for Amanda Anderson is separation anxiety disorder (SAD) with a co-morbidity of school phobia. Separation anxiety disorder is commonly the precursor to school phobia, which is “one of the two most common anxiety disorders to occur during childhood, and is found in about 4% to 10% of all children” (Mash & Wolfe, 2010, p. 198). Amanda is a seven-year-old girl and her anxiety significantly affects her social life. Based on the case study, Amanda’s father informs the therapist that Amanda is extremely dependent on her mother and she is unenthusiastic when separated from her mother. Amanda was sitting on her mother’s lap when the therapist walked in the room to take Amanda in her office for an interview (Morgan, 1999, p. 1).
This essay I have decided to write about Oprah Winfrey. This is because Oprah had many serious life events. These life events must have implemented her key development stages or the other.
In this assignment, I had the opportunity to select one family system from a menu of choices and therefore, I chose Susan’s family. This assignment will provide an opportunity to demonstrate my ability to apply knowledge to understand Susan’s environment, to collect, organize and interpret Susan’s date, and to assess Susan’s strengths and limitations. The index person is Susan and the circumstances which brought her into services was she suffers from chronic headaches and is hoping that counseling will help her improve her well-being. She first sought help for headaches in 1971, but she is continuously getting headaches more often and came in to get help again because she does not want to live like this anymore.
Student Jane Doe had an abortion after signing consent forms herself on April 10,1986. The father of the aborted fetus was a fellow student John Doe. Jane father and Johns mother brought, on the behalf of both students, a civil right suit against the Escambia County (Alabama) Board of Education and against guidance counselor Kay Rose and Vice Principal Melvin Powell. The heart of the suit was that “Rose and Powell forced or compelled Jane to have an abortion and compelled Jane and John to refrain from telling their parents of the pregnancy.” The court found in favor of Board of Education of Escambia County, ALA. The case concluded that the students freely made the decision to have the abortion. Noddings and the Law can be read as being similar

The woman explained to the doctor what was happening to her. The woman also explained that the attack had come out of nowhere with not explanation as to why the attack was triggered. She explained to the doctor that this was the fourth attack in four weeks and the attacks just keep getting worse. The woman proceeded to tell the doctor that she did not know what to do about her symptoms. After examination, the doctor concluded that she was having a panic attack. The doctor asked the patient how long the attacks had been occurring and the patient replied that the attacks had been happening for years but had disappeared for a while and are now resurfacing. The doctor explained to her what he thought may be happening since the doctor found no other explanation for the symptoms that were occurring. The doctor recommended that she go see a psychiatrist or a psychologist. The doctor also prescribed an anti-anxiety medication that was commonly used to treat panic disorder. The woman was later diagnosed with panic disorder after going to a psychiatrist. She is not being treated for the disorder. (Scheutzow & Wiercisiewski 1999; Comer
