On August 23, 1980 in Conroe, Texas, is 40 miles north of Houston, a 16-year-old girl, Cheryl Fergeson, disappeared while searching for a women’s restroom at Conroe High School (Gores, 1991). Cheryl was the manager of the Bellville High girls’ volleyball team visiting Conroe High School for a preseason scrimmage. Later that day while searching for the girl two janitors, Clarence Brandley who is black, and Henry Peace who is white, found the girl’s body hidden under some scenery flats in the loft above the auditorium stage. Cheryl has been raped and strangled to death. Clarence and Henry were interrogated and made to sign statements. On October 13th I was fortunate enough to be able to interview Sandi Lopez. Lopez is from Grand Island, Nebraska and has also lived in Kansas for a few years. At first she was not quite sure on what to do with her career pathway. She wanted a job where she could be able to help others and her community. Lopez says that having many of her friends being police officers is what got her more into law enforcement. She says hanging out around her friends telling her stories about being officers made her really want to be a part of the law enforcement department. In 2010, Beachwood High School hired Dirk Dagger as principal. The previous principal was beloved Phyllis Knowles who worked at Beachwood for two years. Prior to Phyllis was Joe Gates who left his first principalship after only two years. Preceding to Joe, Lonna Self led the high school for four years and was forced out by the board. All of the principals lived outside the local community and commuted long distances to work. Dirk's two assistant principals, or AP's, were Frank Fischer, a young, highly talented former business education teacher for six years, in his second year as AP. The second AP was Sara Shad, a 28 year veteran English teacher at the high school, in her fourth year as AP. The administration was aware that culture changes existed in the school with the continued influx of Arabic families into Dearborn Heights.

In 1981, an official at a hospital, suspected improprieties by Dr. Ortega’s in his management of a residency program. Hospital officials conducted an investigation, which involved numerous searches of his office and the seizure of a several of items as evidence. The evidence was later used at California State Personnel Board proceedings, to impeach the credibility of witnesses that testified on behalf of Dr. Ortega's. Dr. Ortega later filed suit in federal court alleging that the search conducted by hospital officials violated the Fourth Amendment. The district court made a summary judgment, and ruled the search was proper. Dr. Ortega appealed, to the circuit court; it ruled that the search did violate the Fourth Amendment. The appeal court
We, the parents of Aileen Padua, would like to tell you a little bit about our daughter, who is a senior currently attending University High School. As you should know, Aileen is our youngest daughter, whose older sister graduated in 2005 from University High School. We believe that Aileen will become successful as her older sister, who now resides in New York CIty working as an attorney.
The Instructional leadership team meeting took place on November 15, 2017. The people in the meeting were: cooperating teacher; Amber Merrick, field supervisor; Melba Foster, and teacher candidate, Aide K Soto. The meeting started with acknowledgments by Aide K Soto to recognize Miss. Merrick for her support, expertise, and gentleness. Miss. Soto reflected on her last experiences including; first teaching performance, meetings with colleagues, relationships with students, and interactions with parents. In the areas of strengths, Miss. Soto recognized that being bilingual aid her to communicate with Spanish speaking parents. Relating to areas of improvement, Miss. Soto needs to learn more about school activities
She is also an instructor for the School of Social Work at New Mexico Highlands University and can instruct her social policy classes from Clovis Community College. She earned her BSW at Eastern New Mexico University and her MSW from New Mexico Highlands University. I find it amazing that she has time to teach while working more than forty hours a week. She keeps a daily schedule on her computer to stay focus and organize. These are two important steps to success in organizational skills.
Rosa Lee Cunningham is a 52-year old African American female. She is 5-foot-1-inch, 145 pounds. Rosa Lee is married however, is living separately from her husband. She has eight adult children, Bobby, Richard, Ronnie, Donna (Patty), Alvin, Eric, Donald (Ducky) and one child who name she did not disclose. She bore her eldest child at age fourteen and six different men fathered her children. At Rosa Lee’s recent hospital admission to Howard University Hospital emergency room blood test revealed she is still using heroin. Though Rosa Lee recently enrolled in a drug-treatment program it does not appear that she has any intention on ending her drug usage. When asked why she no longer uses heroin she stated she doesn’t always have the resources to support her addiction. Rosa Lee is unemployed and receiving very little in government assistance. The primary diagnosis for Amanda Anderson is separation anxiety disorder (SAD) with a co-morbidity of school phobia. Separation anxiety disorder is commonly the precursor to school phobia, which is “one of the two most common anxiety disorders to occur during childhood, and is found in about 4% to 10% of all children” (Mash & Wolfe, 2010, p. 198). Amanda is a seven-year-old girl and her anxiety significantly affects her social life. Based on the case study, Amanda’s father informs the therapist that Amanda is extremely dependent on her mother and she is unenthusiastic when separated from her mother. Amanda was sitting on her mother’s lap when the therapist walked in the room to take Amanda in her office for an interview (Morgan, 1999, p. 1).
In the interview, I asked her what kind of relationship does she have with her students and she said that she puts them at the same level as here because she doesn’t like the idea one person being superior to someone else. She used a supporting leadership style by allowing her students to feel free to think outside of the box without any judgment while still knowing that she will be there to help if they need it. She also said that she adapts her leadership style depending on the student she is working with. She understands that some people need more help than others and ensures her students that she does not play favorites with any students. Trevino is a very team oriented leader and embraces problem solving skills in her teaching methods. She shows traits of the Transformational Leader by always reassuring her Student Leadership Team that she is not her for the paycheck. Instead, she is here to make sure that every student is prepared for life after high school. Whenever she talks to her students, you can tell that she is passionate and truly cares about each and every one of their personal well beings inside and outside of school.
