I’ve always tried to think though my decisions and things I do in life. But It was only during an experience at a festival in the desert; Midburn, that my entire thinking on life and living changed and meaning in life was found through happiness and nature. Psychologists’ understand human behaviors by looking into experiences, including the origin of emotions, thoughts, and behaviors. Throughout the last century, society has been fascinated by the possibilities of humanity a better future. The fact that during this festival many attendees represent the future and the unknown that gives our society the ability to continue to project our own ideas of what can be created. It is very difficult to describe and explain what kind of experiences one can have until they experience it themselves. Where now around 65,000 people gather in the harsh conditions of the desert in a temporary city that creates the most unique, intense, insane, and chaotic experiences in the world. The purpose of the event is that one does not leave any trace that they were there, not even a cigarette ash. Therefore once the event is over the city disappears as if it was never there. Midburn first took place in 2014 with about 3,000 participants that celebrate radical expression, established dozens of camps and created dozens of installations. Now To date, Midburn is the third largest burning man regional event in the world with 11,000 participants with 9,000 as volunteers, 900 children, and the rest internationals after Burning man in the US, and Afrikaburn in South Africa. …show more content…

Five years after this started this event was transferred to where the event has been held in the Black Rock Desert. This event is very unique because it runs solely on volunteers and participants who determine what to create. There are close to 200 theme camps that each have their own ideas on how to contribute to the event, such as setting up bars, clubs, lectures, and seminars. Everything at this event is free, you bring what you can to be self reliant and gift to others, nothing is for purchase at this event other than ice. The camps are set up like a clock from 1:30-10:30 with the center filled with work that Artists paved in the desert soil with interactive giant displays. Whereas at night the desert comes to life and becomes a display of light, color, fire and music. The participants are dressed in colorful clothes that were specially prepared for the event months in advance, riding bicycles decorated with colorful lighting, decorated vehicles carrying balloons in the depth of the desert. There are also interactive art exhibits illuminated by colorful lights and parties that continue into the small hours of the night. (Midburn
