Beowulf acted with integrity. Integrity means that someone has strong moral principles and is honest. Beowulf shows integrity by gladly traveling a great distance to slay Grendel. (Beowulf part 12 lines 29-31). He showed integrity in this instance by defending his ally. Beowulf also shows great integrity when he buried Unferth's head.
