Being more prepared in the morning If I could solve one problem in the world, I would solve my problem of not being prepared in the morning. Every morning for school I practically miss the bus because I'm not ready yet. I've been. My parents get very upset with me being so unprepared because I miss the bus and they have to drive me to school. Hopefully, these ideas will solve my problem. I haven't been able to come up with any ideas so it hasn't been a major concern of mine till finally I have found some ways to hopefully help my problem. I have finally come up with some solutions to my problem of not being ready in the mornings. First, I need to get everything ready in the morning for school the next day. Constantly I am forgetting necessities needed for school due to me being unprepared. Constantly, I am always forgetting to ask for lunch money and forgetting to have my parents sign permission slips. I need to make sure I have them sign those the day before that way I don't receive the consequences at school for my forgetfulness and being unprepared. Being a girl can be a big struggle when it comes to picking out clothes. We are constantly trying on several outfits trying to find the perfect attire to wear to school the next day. Every morning I do exactly that. I run around getting in my dressers and closets trying to find an outfit to wear and can never find one! This was a hard one, I couldn't find a solution to having a different way of picking out my outfits in the morning without wasting so much time on trying so many outfits on. I used to have a very simple issue but never noticed until a teacher pointed it out. I was always focused in handing in my assignments on time and believed by doing so I was definitely going to be successful and be getting a good mark on it but most of the time I was disappointed in not getting the mark I wanted and never understood why I got the mark I did. Just as they are standing face-to-face with each other, I am standing face-to-face with procrastination. I encounter difficulty managing my time with just about everything I do; I always wait too long. Throughout high school I was never in a hurry to get any of my work done. The work was easy to me, so if I waited until the last minute to do anything, it wasn’t hard for me to finish. I could always take my time to get everything done and still get a good grade in high school. Even if the work was harder and took me a little extra time, my teachers were all very lenient and accepted late work. My high school was very easy and allowed me to get into the bad habit of procrastinating.

In the morning before school, picking out an outfit can be difficult. Throughout out our nutrition classes it has become known that the brain runs on glucose, which is the fuel that is required to function. Glucose, is obtained through the food that we eat. When we are not eating our bodies rely on stored fuels, for example, glucose, fats and protein to supply the brain, nervous system and organs. The problem with skipping breakfast, however, is that because your body is running with glucose stored from the night before by the time a person wake up in the morning their glucose is level is low. Studies have shown that eating breakfast can improve concentration, problem solving ability, mental performance, memory and mood, and can also start your metabolism in the morning.
It started with having to write down the time every time I looked at the clock. “9:06”. Write it down. Sometime later I’d sneak a glance again, “9:10”, write it down. My worksheets began to be cluttered with random times, floating around wherever I could get them to fit. Something told me I just had to write them down, and I couldn’t shake this feeling.
Since I can remember, I’ve had things to do and I put them off until the last minute. Sometimes putting things off until the last minute works out. At least half the time, assignments that I do the night before earn passing grades.
