As children, we are naturally, curious, eager and willing to try new things. When they don’t work out we are quick to move on and try something else. We don’t waste time or start worrying about what didn’t work, we simply move on to trying something else. As we grow older we learn that failure is unacceptable and we always need to be on our feet and improving ourselves all the time so we can decrease the chances of failure. I believe that in this world everyone is hungry for success and no one wants to fail in something they would love to accomplish one day. She tells how her father Rex is so hungry for success just when he’s a young adult. He has all these good paying jobs such as a pilot but ended up leaving because he wanted more and more success. After he gets married with Jeannette’s mom Rose Mary, he’s doing a good job and being responsible but later due to his actions to striving for more success he ends up broke and starts to spend money on alcohol and gambling. He’s desire for more success doesn’t stop there and starts to build a machine called the prospector that will help him find gold. I used to have a very simple issue but never noticed until a teacher pointed it out. I was always focused in handing in my assignments on time and believed by doing so I was definitely going to be successful and be getting a good mark on it but most of the time I was disappointed in not getting the mark I wanted and never understood why I got the mark I did.
