Ever since I was sixteen I’ve wanted to be a Paramedic. My dad used to work in EMS and would tell me about his experiences. His stories sparked something within me, a kind of passion I hadn’t felt before. I started taking classes in this field and fell in love with the material. The more I learn, the more I know that the EMS profession is where I belong. I am now 22 years old and have obtained an EMT certification. For me, this is a big step in the right direction. It has encouraged me to see the progress I have made towards my career goal of being a Licensed Paramedic.
