The Chef of Kings, And The King of Chefs Auguste Escoffier was born in October 28, 1846 in France (Auguste Escoffier Biography). Escoffier began his career when he was the age of twelve working in his Uncle’s restaurant in Nice ( An Escoffier Biography).
