College students have their right to give their ideas and opinions on topics that discomfort them and disagreement on. In Washington Post, Terrell Starr wrote an article on how the Missouri University students did not want to bring this problem to a country problem. They wanted to help the community from all of the racism and other ethic problems. The black college students wanted to help the environment better in the community. The freedom of speech that they instructed into their environment is not having the media broadcasting their protest due to their worries of racism in their student body and outside of their schools.
