The art piece is naturally very attractive and it has served as a major inspiration to the taste of the viewers, as well as painters during the epoch. This painting has thus resulted in a signification transformation of the quality and standards of paintings. The Mill was well acknowledged by connoisseurs and artists because of the lasting impression the painting projects to the viewer (Schama, 1999). The painting impels a romantic atmosphere through the scene that is depicted in the painting. In addition, the presence of the silhouette of the mill that is positioned against the turbulent sky imparts a dramatic effect that compels the viewer to further imagination.
In conclusion, there were many artistic and creative artists during the romanticism movement. These famous people were some of the artists that demonstrated how creative this movement was by allowing viewers to see their individuality in their art work. Beethoven, Rousseau, Hegel, Shelley, and Goethe were well-known for their works during the romanticism movement. These artists used music, philosophy, and literature to show their creativity and skill, which enabled the feel of how the romanticism movement gave them their freedom to be themselves. This movement allowed new styles and welcomed an individual’s creation to be introduced to the public.
Donatello was a huge influence to Renaissance art because of the realism of his work, the effect his art had on other sculptors, and his revival of classical art. During the European Renaissance people were truly fascinated with making things look as realistic as possible, this is called realism. Pearson Education states, “Donatello is considered one of the founders of modern sculpture because he created realistic human expressions and stressed action and character”. Donatello was one of the first artists of his time to experiment with realism. Realism w... ... middle of paper ... ...day.
Contemporary collection spans the post-World War II period until today. In this work, you can see that Franz Ackermann illuminates his art with a great use of vivid colors. When I looked at this painting, I could easily see how his travel in various urban locations influenced him. Overall, the contemporary exhibits were quite impressive and fun to view. The Modern artwork grabbed my attention with some of its works too.
There was incense burning outside which was what had lured me in. Once we got inside, my eyes were popping out of my head with how many items were engulfed inside. There was a lot of hand crafted art, such as jewelry and candles. I marveled for a good long time in there. The first art gallery we entered was by far my favorite.
I loved how much this display had! The images came to life for me because of the bright colors that were seen throughout the paintings. Some of them just wouldn’t have worked or been as eye pleasing without color and the right colors. As I walked around the gallery, I noticed that accompanying most of the artists’ works were their rough sketches that showed the different stages of the work being pieced together. This really showed the viewer just how much went into each piece and the artists’ train of thought as they developed their work.
Personally, I really enjoy the paintings in the Renaissance because I feel these paintings have an indescribable attraction. Most paintings show the mystery throughout the mix of black, red, and yellow colors which were blended. Moreover, the
I was surprised to see this piece priced between 25,000-35,000 dollars. This very basic painting was one of the few pieces that I was not dazzled by. Overall, the journey to Sotheby’s was well worth it. By visiting different museums, and understanding how different artists paint and portray their work, I feel as though students are able to expand their horizons and learn about all the different art types there are out in the world. It is important to understand and appreciate all of the different types of art and artists that there are in this world.
I believe the photographer did a wonderful job. Having spent a while in the gallery, I felt very comfortable and welcome. I would definitely return for future visits and would suggest it to anyone coming into town. A great amount of talent is featured in my community, and I think this establishment is a bit underrated. The staff was very friendly and welcomed me as soon as I entered; whenever I had a question, I almost instantly received a knowledgeable answer.
They loved how they could enjoy a play in the direct sun and warmth. This made audiences feel at home when they watched plays inside the globe. Specifically Henry V because of how realistic this play was. That is why the Elizabethan Era and Henry V were one of the greatest theatrical events of all time.
