In the Evolutionists believe that dinosaurs lived on the earth for 160 million years before the sudden demise about 65.5 million years ago. There are many theories on how dinosaurs disappeared, but there is no evidence. For years paleontologists thought that this event was caused by weather, climate changes, and geological changes that interrupted the food supply. Some scientists believe that a plague swept over and decimated the dinosaur population and then the animals that ate their carcasses. Some evolutionist also believe that some mammals big and small ate that baby dinosaurs and the dinosaur eggs until there was no more lest and therefore wiping out the dinosaur species. Pterosaurs were not dinosaurs but were closely related, and existed for 150 million years beginning in the late Triassic period through the Jurassic and Cretaceous periods until eventually becoming extinct along with the rest of the earth’s population at what is now known as the KT boundary event. The KT boundary event was the mass extinction that occurred at some point in time between the Cretaceous (K) and the Tertiary (T). The green sea turtles have been taken out of the Atlantic Ocean for several years, so now they are an endangered species. Today, the green sea turtles population is growing and in the Florida Refuge they counted up to over 12,000 turtle nests. It is shocking to see how much the refuges care about the green sea turtles. They have been looking out for the turtles for 35 years. It was interesting to find out that these green sea turtles live for a really long time. It takes the turtles 25 years just to mature. This article caught my eye because I love science and animals. Knowing that people are taking care of what used to be endangered animals really means a lot to me. Dinosaurs held their own, according to studies, for at least 150 million years. After becoming extinct and finding fossilized remains dinosaurs have become a way in which we not only measure the changes that have occurred as the planet evolved, but also how we express ourselves today.

This creates a confusion to come to a conclusion. After a long period scientists come with a conclusion that dinosaurs are Mesothermic (between endothermy and ectothermy) . Dinosaurs share some common characters with endothermic animals (warm blooded) and some with ectothermic animals (cold blooded) . Now there are evidences that sates that dinosaurs follow an intermediate line that means they are mesothermic animals. The majority of scientists agree on a number of theories as to what brought the end of the dinosaurs. The most popular theory is that an asteroid ended the reign of the dinosaurs. Another theory, massive climate change in the pre-historic atmosphere, caused all the dinosaurs to die.
Zoos display fascinating animals from all over the world for human entertainment, research, conservation, and education. Many scientists conduct studies on animals in captivity that they may not have been able to in the wild. Zoos educate all the visitors that come; they let people know everything that they know about the animals on display. We do learn a lot from these animals, but not all of the animals in the zoo are behaving like they normally would in the wild. Larger animals, such as elephants and orcas (commonly known as killer whales), have trouble with being confined in such a small area. However, many smaller animals benefit from zoos because they provide protection from predators, natural disasters, and poachers. They also benefit from conservation efforts; the babies being born get all the care they could ever need. Some animal rights activists are concerned that the conservation efforts are limiting the gene pool of the species. They argue that the small number of animals able to breed in captivity limits biodiversity and leads to weaknesses in the species overall. Zoos are wonderful places to study and learn about animals, but we need to improve the living standards for animals that struggle with captivity.
