Argumentative Essay - Holy Wars: Right or Wrong?

Imagine a beautiful town with green grass and people conversing peacefully. In this town ideas are passed on, until religion is shared and judgement appears. Now imagine this town’s grass burning its people fighting furiously. All of this undertaking by one order, their leaders. Holy Wars provide violence in religion and ignore peace, proving that holy wars shouldn’t be right, and religious leaders shouldn’t be able to start these wars.

To start off, if religions are actually peaceful why would they harm others. According to Juadism101.com it states,” This story is used to show God abhors human slaughter.” This displays how in Judaism, even God thinks killing upon humans is wrong and shouldn’t occur. In opposition, what if a religious follower murder to convert another's religion. In religions like Christianity they believe violence isn’t okay even if for God.

In addition, in most religion killing another person leads to punishment. Al-Islam.com claims,” Whoever shall kill intentionally shall recieve punishment, and Allah will send wraith on them.” This shows how in the religion Islam, people who kill aren’t good with God. On the other hand, in the Qur’an as Thereligonpeace.com mentions,”Fight them until there is no more disbelief.” Yes, they may fight to end disbelief, but …show more content…

Asgotquestions.org says,” The bible has much to say about obidience infact, obidience is an esential part of a Christians faith. In Christianity you have to be obedient to others request and beliefs meaning to respect their beliefs. Although true, but what if they believe in different religions, but disrespect yours.
