Recommended: The effect of the 2nd World War

Introduction During the Holocaust over 6 million people were killed. But many people still suffered outside of the matter. According to Frances Goodrich and Albert Hackett, 8 people, which included the Franks, Van Daans, and Mr Dussel, all stayed in a secret annex for over two years hiding from Nazis and waiting for allied countries to save them. As time passed many historical events that occurred outside the annex influenced the moods and relationships of the characters. One example to support the thesis would be how Anne’s mood changes throughout the long endeavor in the annex. Specifically the relationship between Anne and Peter. At first between Anne and Peter their relationship is very tense and they always insult one another and play
