Animal testing is cruel and unreasonable! Animals are a total different species, then humans. What may work for humans. May cause animals' problems, or even in some cases death. Not only is testing on animals risky its cost is dramatically higher! No one understands the amount of money that goes into these researches. The bad thing is that the amount of money being used on testing poor insistent animals. The money could be put toward new technology. The new technology could save animals and human lives. Today there are many new types of tests. These testing’s could be more beneficial to new medications and cosmetics. Animals shouldn’t have to be put on the spot to save us. Things need to change. Experiments need to end! Also new technology needs to be brought up and used. Animals that are being used for testing are dramatically different than humans. The article called “33 Reasons why animal testing is pointless”
States that “Less than 2% of human illnesses are ever seen in animals.” That means that 98% of the human illnesses don’t even affect animals. But yet animals are used to research and test out medications and cosmetics for humans.
When there's no common ground. If animals don’t get human illnesses that often. Then why is the government using them for human health and cosmetic research? Another thing is that most human health side effects from medications hardly ever occur in animals.
Scientists can't reproduce most common human death diseases in labs. Two of the most common human killers are cancer, and heart disease. The government can't use animal testing to find the cures to the two most common killers. How do they expect to find any other cures from testing done on animals? Not poor little loving animals. If the medications are killing a high amount of humans. Then what do you think they are going to do to animals? Not only are the products going to affect the animals. The animals that are being tested have to go through certain guidelines. The article called “Animal experimentation pros and cons”, Mentions something about how the animals are forced to try the products. Some animals may be forced to consume different types of things. The article also says something about some animals may be starved in the process of testing. They may also be forced to eat too much. The animals are doing humans a big favor by being their testing equipment. Why are the animals being treated so badly? Should this really be a thing? Torturing poor little animals by putting them through all this danger. All just for medication and cosmetics. Its pointless ! Especially when there are new ways to test medications and cosmetics. That don’t have to deal with the use of animal. Animal testing is far more expensive , then any other type of testing. Just for an animal to have a DNA test it costs the government an entire 3200 dollars. For researchers to do a two- species cancer study the government will end up spending any where to 4 million dollars. Yeah! That’s expensive. Cancer is one of the leading causes of death in America. One that government keeps testing for. Those test the government are doing for no reason are costing us 4 million dollars. That’s 4
