In a time where many people are struggling to pay their bills or find a stable income, it might be to here that certain athletes are making over 19 million dollars in a year, just for playing a sport. While this may seem unfair, consumers are providing this salary. I agree with athletes making large sums of money. This is because they risk injury, get money from the support of fans, and are making money doing something that they enjoy. In most sports, there is a chance that you can get injured. These injuries, whether minor or major, can spawn a life long disability such as paralyzation or brain damage. Athletes are risking their bodies and even their lives for the sake of entertainment.
