The Myers-Briggs profile has four sections with two different types you can receive in each section. The first section is based on how you interact with your surroundings. The two different types you might get selected as is either an extrovert or an introvert. Extroverts enjoy being social and get excited about group activities. Introverts are more comfortable being alone and feel content with solitary activities. The second section is based on how you look at the world. Either you will be selected as someone who is more sensing or intuitive. This indicates if you either focus on the present or if you focus on the future. As an introvert, I am very content when I am alone. I rather sit in my room and read a book rather than go out with a group of friends. Although I enjoy socializing, I find that it can exhaust me and I feel more energized alone. When it comes to how I look at the world I slightly leans more towards sensing than being intuitive. I don’t like thinking about the deeper meanings to why things are the way they are. I rarely ever question things. My motto is everything happens the way they are supposed to happen. It’s a waste of time, in my opinion, to try and think about what could happen. I have found that it gives me anxiety to think like that. I have no doubt that I am a feeler instead of a thinker. I live life with my heart on my sleeve. I am very sensitive and most of my choices are made based on my emotions. I like making everyone happy. If I see that someone is upset I want to fix whatever the problem is. Perceiving is a much better way of putting it than saying I’m irresponsible like most people see it as when you are unorganized and just go with the flow. I have tried to be organized and plan things out, but it just doesn’t work for me. All it does is stress me out. I enjoy being this way because it works for me. Most of these are very accurate to what I’ve already looked into. When I was a youngster I always thought it would be so cool to be an interior designer. I love decorating and being creative. I also love making people happy which most interior designer’s help people create something that they are imagining. As for the childcare profession that is actually what I am trying to pursue now. My first job was a sitter and I absolutely love kids and helping them. I am currently in school for elementary education. The customer service specialist is similar to what my current job is. I am a service representative at a health and wellness center and I enjoy it a lot. The only one that I am not interested in is nursing. I have thought about it before, but I just know I wouldn’t enjoy it. The long shifts, making big decisions, and the being around a bunch of blood freaks me out. Nursing is a great career and I love helping people. I just don’t think it’s right for
