The important reason of the poem is because the spirits are showing a important figure by trying to get readers to see how he might feel to experience death in a strange,but interesting way. Edgar Allen Poe is trying to make the reader understand where he is coming from in the story. The important topic about this poem is to see the story as if all of this was happening to them.
