In a recent appearance on The Ellen Show, President Barack Obama was quizzed about the subject of aliens, by a little girl. In typical Obama style, the President responded with some light humor, though, as some UFO sources are saying, did not completely deny the subject. This may, according to UFOs On Earth, “lead to many possible interpretations, or maybe not” (1). When the little girl quizzed Obama whether aliens were real, the President rather noncommittally asked the girl what she thought about aliens. The girl admitted she thought aliens were real after she watched a TV program about them. Making a joke out of it at least diffuses the situation. Now, that said, I honestly don’t think we’re ever going to get an admission from a sitting president that the US has any knowledge of UFOs or ETs. I just don’t see it happening.” Of course the fact President Obama doesn’t immediately dismiss the idea of extra-terrestrial life and chooses to make light of the situation and provide noncommittal answers, is enough to give many a UFO believer fodder. To UFO believers, they simply deem it as testament that alien life does exist and that ‘those in higher places’ know it exists but are unwilling to share their knowledge with Joe Public. Being quizzed about aliens at least shows politicians have a sense of humor about secret alien files (3). What are your thoughts on President Obama’s tongue-in-cheek comments about ETs and UFOs? Proof aliens do exist and the government is covering them up or testimony that the President acknowledges the ludicrousness of the suggestion?
