Ale Zola Monologue

There are only a few of us left. We are few and far between but we are still here. We are Ale’zola. Each of us is unique but the same. We started the Zolian Empire and we ended it. Let me start at the beginning, when the Zolian Empire began 7000 years ago the Ale'zola were everywhere. We were the law keepers, the military. We were respected. Then 20 years into the reign of King Samuel the First a prophet came to Belya, the capital city. She said one thing before dying by her own hand.
The empire will die when an Ale’zola rules. After that, the kings killed every Ale’zola they could find. We hid in remote villages never staying in one place for long. They tried many ways to get rid of us but we live long lives. Soon the prophecy was forgotten, it didn’t end the murders

“Follow Me,” He says before I can ask any questions. He walks toward the barracks. When I don’t follow, right away he turns back and pulls up one of his sleeves revealing the same scar that are on my arms. Hastily I run to catch up to him. When we get inside he directs me into his office, before he closes the door he tells the two guards outside to take a lunch break and to send Major Generals (MG) Kai, Vern, and Nick in.”

“Wait for them. I will explain everything then” I nod and look around. I had never been in the Generals office. It was furnished simply, a large desk covered in papers two chairs for guests. Maps lined the walls showing the entire empire. Three short knocks pound on the door.
“Come in” General Kenro says. Three men enter, the first is a large man with short cropped black hair and piercing blue eyes. His nose appears to have been crushed at least once. His appearance makes him seem mean and cruel. When he sees me sitting in the chair across from General Kenro his face lights up with a smile revealing bright white teeth and dimples on his cheeks.
