Benny Monologue

Introduction
Hello, for all those who don’t know me, my name is Minh Nguyen. Benny and I have been best friends for as long as I can remember. We lived right next to each and we spent most of our child days together.
Memories
When I think of Benny as a child, I remember how much he loved exploring the bushes out back of my house. When it was the holidays we spent most of our time exploring the bushes, finding animals, swimming at the swimming hole and all sorts of things that we could come across. Generally doing crazy stuff that would give our parents grey hair sooner.
If I had to share one memory that really illustrates Benny’s fearless and sometimes impulsive nature. Both of us built a rope swing in a nearby tree along the water hole. Benny being fearless as he is, he decided to try

Luckily he wound up with nothing but a broken arm. It just shows how much of reckless guy he was.
Other than being a risk taker, Benny had a kind soul, I’m sure most of you here would agree to this. Ben has never met anyone that he could not help in any way. Due to his passion he volunteers at homeless shelters giving out food and drinks. Ben sits down with them whenever he could to have a conversation with the homeless even giving them some of his own money. His far to kind, makes me think how kind he was and just makes me idolise him.
Mention of Family/Friends
Come down to it, with Benny’s compassionate nature and willingness to taking risks. It's not hard to understand why he ventured out in that storm on Wednesday night, trying to take food and diapers to one of her families in need. He knew that they would be fine until morning but, Benny was concerned for their will being.
