Alcoholics will live day by day struggling with compulsive drinking disease. Everyone thinks it’s all fun and games drinking and partying with their friends when they are younger, but they do not realize the effects of what alcoholism does to your body until it is unfortunately too late. In my opinion, alcohol abuse is the deadliest disease out there, before you know it alcohol takes over your body and your life. Everything around you will eventually revolve around alcohol, you will start to distance yourself from your loved ones which can result in a separation, you can lose your job, and the worst part about it is that you are destroying your body. One of the biggest factors is being in a stressful environment. Adults with a stressful job, or other occupations that come with stressful situations tend to drink to relieve it. This will work the first couple times they try it but eventually, it becomes too much of a habit and it begins to control you. The urges to drink rise over everything else and then its your main priority. This also ties in with mental health problems, mostly depression. People that are going through these issues drink to relieve the pain within them and try to it make it better. It makes them forget about it for the time being, until it becomes a habit. In reality it’s just a temporary fix for a bigger problem. Going along with medical and stress factors, another large issue is taking medication with alcohol. Not many people would think about this but it is a large issue. They become addicted to the feeling of both alcohol and medication together, so they keep taking it with alcohol more and more then eventually they can’t stop. This is a much larger issue then just factoring in alcoholism, these effects are very dangerous and even life threatening. Lastly starting to drink at an early age which is becoming a much larger issue in the past years. Beginning to drink when your young, such as highschool years gives your body the ability to raise your tolerance so you will need to drink more to get drunk, and this is what alcoholics like to get
