Feeling the exciment of clear goals achieved through hard work and a meaning of purpose along with a desirable vision to be success. Money is what is commonly applied to the meaning of success. The American dream, lots of money, fame, and luxurious objects is propagandas to also be believed that is success. It takes more than money to achieve success, time, grit, and hard work is what is needed to accomplish a clear goal in becoming successful. Along with a person willing to take the risk in achieving Darwin believed that hard work and enthusiasm is more important than intelligence. Not all believe in such a theory. Being motivated to not give up and completing my goals has always been a part of me. My first two years of college were very though, I was not prepared or ready to start a big chapter in my life. I had my first taste of freedom and did not prioritize. My priorities shift gradually everything was disorganized including myself. Managing school, work, and having freedom was a drastic change. I knew I wanted to receive good grades and get my general college education along with a certificate, but I was far from prepared. I had no clue where to start or where to seek help. Understanding my strengths and knowledge that I have gained over the years from my mistakes have really opened new doors and a new mind set. I know what my main priorities are and what new goals I have set for myself and how to accomplish them. Some of my traits have evolved, I understand myself better and what I truly want for my future, along with what I don’t want. William James in Grit said, “Compared to what we ought to be, we are only half awake.” I know I have lots more to learn but I am more aware than what I was when I started college. Despite my rough path, I will continue trying and will not give up. Opportunities are always new doors to bettering myself, some more difficult from others. I now have a fresh start at Reedley college and take full advantage of it and take pride in my classes. From what I learned from Clark was
