Abortion has been used to controlled fertility in every society on the world. Over the centuries, there is a rich history about women help each other to abort. Abortion was not considered illegal in US until 1880, by which time most states had banned to protect the life of the woman. However, even it has been banned, abortion is still widely practice. Rich women who could afford to pay skilled doctors or go to another country to have the safest and easiest abortion. But for those women, who are poor and lack of knowledge about health had to run the greatest risk with illegal abortion or “black market” abortion. In 1950s, about a million abortions were practiced per year in the US, and over a thousand women died each year as a result. Considering American ethics and values, death is morally wrong. Therefore, the killing of unborn fetuses is morally wrong as well. For that reason, abortion should be outlawed and considered as a cruel, unnatural and absolutely immoral human act.
There are so many different viewpoints on abortion, it isn’t even funny. Someone could say that abortion is morally acceptable because a woman was raped or the pregnancy could interfere with her health. Other people might say that it is murder and immorally unacceptable because the child obviously does not have a say in the abortion. The problem with abortions is that there is no real conclusion to the problem, whether it is legal or illegal. And this argument is only getting worse and worse.

In modern society, many women that have an unintended pregnancy and they result to abortion without researching other options. Abortion is not a substitute for birth control and this issue should be taken seriously. The individual woman needs to understand that by agreeing to have an abortion she is agreeing to kill an innocent fetus. Abortion rips the unborn child from his or hers right to life. Society needs to let women see through the eyes of the fetus and find alternative ways to raise the baby. Abortion should be illegal because childhood begins at conception, not at birth.
The United States Government should illegalize abortion for many different reasons including, a potential life has ended before given a chance remains evidence enough for most people to understand why a person should never have a choice of whether a baby lives or dies. Studies also show that mothers who choose abortion have a higher health risk rate after the abortion and also have more psychological problems after the abortion as well. Not only is it proven that abortions cause pain to the mother of the baby but the Fetuses can feel pain during the abortion procedure as well. Another big reason most people believe abortions are not right is because, It is stated in the bible that a baby becomes a life after conception. One of the biggest problems however is that most people feel that the founding fathers did not approve of abortions because they stated “all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness (Should Abortion be legal?, 2013 )."
I have a lot of thoughts about abortion and why it should be illegal everywhere. If there is a heartbeat, and you “abort” it, it should be considered murder. I am simply stating my opinion here and what I think is right from wrong but I will provide solid information and facts to stand my reasoning by why and how I think abortion should be illegal. According to the Merriam-Webster dictionary, abortion is “the termination of a pregnancy after, accompanied by, resulting in, or closely following by the death of the embryo or fetus: as a) spontaneous expulsion of a human fetus during the first 12 weeks of gestation b) induced expulsion of a human fetus c) expulsion of a fetus by a domestic animal often due to infection at any time before completion of pregnancy.” It is just flat out a monstrosity. I saw this website about the difference between abortion and murder, it made me think a lot more about this topic and how I truly feel about it. This website asked whether you knew the difference between a “zygote”,” embryo” or a “fetus” and then it continued to show 14 different pictures and asked you to think about which one of those you would consider babies. I went through and all 14 pictures, I would personally consider to be babies. Abortion is legal in every state in the United States. There are multiple ways to do abortions. Wade made abortions legal. Abortion has been a controversial topic on why abortion is unethical in depriving an innocent life a chance of living. Although most people are prochoice and for abortion, society needs to know the reasons why it unethical. For each life that has been terminated since, abortion became legal it one less life that could have had a chance to be somebody like a doctor, nurse, teacher, maybe even a president. Abortion, one of the most controversial topics in the United States. Many people argue that it's safe, it's humane and that it is the mothers decision ultimately. But, is it really? Abortion is the intended discontinuance of a pregnancy, most commonly carried out in the first twelve to thirteen weeks. In other words, it's where you knowingly kill your baby who is growing inside of you. Although it's most common for women to get an abortion in the first twelve to thirteen weeks, some states allow them to be performed up to twenty four weeks into the pregnancy. In some cases, you can even get an abortion after twenty four weeks (New Health Guide). In my opinion, abortion is nothing more than murder and it should be illegal in every state, of every country.
