Abortions Abortions should be illegal due to the fact that it’s killing innocent human beings who have no control over the decisions made to abort. Others who are for support of abortions believe that a woman should have total control over their body. Some even contend that life does not begin a conception. Repeal of Roe vs Wade, which legalized abortions should be overturned and any abortions, in general, should be illegal. Making them illegal would result in many lives being saved, making our world a better place to live. It could also provide the resources needed to provide the assets to advance mankind, i.e. scientific issues, medical technology and other important needed future tasks and needs of the world. One of the reasons that the pro-choice and pro-life groups justify their positions are based upon the fact that before the supreme court decision legalized abortions, women would undertake their own measures to abort the baby which included such things as the use of coat hanger, knitting needles, radiator flush or going to unsafe back-allies. These crude measures caused many Americans to feel the legalization of abortions was justified. Pro-Choice and Pro-Life Groups, debated whether or not abortion should be a legal or illegal. For example, pro-life,believe that the quality or condition of being an individual person begins at conception, and therefore abortion is an unethical killing of a blameless human being. However, Pro-choice known as the supporters of abortions believe that a person has the right to control their body,therefore it's a person's choice to do as they please.
