Globalization is inevitable to be avoided. Josep Stiglitz, in his book Making Globalization Work suggests that there are no countries which can avoid themselves from globalization. Every country in the world with its own potential and uniqueness must be ready to involve in the globalization era. The enormous potential which can support the attempt to involve in globalization era covers natural resources, human resources, local wisdom, cultural diversity, education, industrialization etc.
In addition to the advancement in technology, transportation, and telecommunication, the more complex needs of countries in the world generates interdependence of economic and cultural activities between countries. One country might have needs which cannot be fulfilled by their own available resources. Globalization allows the exchange of resources between countries which historically had been started from Silk Road era (Lee, 1997:3-4). The exchange of products in Silk Road era even ranged from Europe to Southeast Asia. The western countries looked for spices, porcelains, and textiles to the eastern part because those things have become main needs for the people in the West. While the eastern countries needed to build relationship to other countries as a strategy to fulfill local needs and to strengthen their existence. This basic framework of globalization has been growing until the recent year.
Southeast Asian countries have been taking part in exchanging resources since Silk Road era. Indira says that in the modern era, the countries realized that they must cooperate to develop regional economy, culture, and other issues in the region. Globalization helps many people achieve greatness. But for the majority it brings hardships and struggle. People will be plagued by the effects of globalization and will have a tough time over coming it. We are far from reaching a point where we can say we have sustainable prosperity throughout our world. But before we focus in on sustaining prosperity, we must first reach prosperity and bring it to all corners or the earth.
(Bilton et al 1996:5) The process of globalization has certainly had many changing effects to the world we live in; it has also changed the way many factors operate. Globalization is said "to have transformed the structure and scale of human relationships that social, cultural, political, and economic processes now operate at a global scale with a consequent reduction in the significance of other geographical scales. "(The Dictionary of human geography 2004:315) Globalization has had both positive and negative effects on a local, national, international and global level. Globalization often brings benefits at one level which cause negative effects at another, these results and the scale at which they manifest are often uncertain and unpredictable.

Globalization refers to the absence of barriers that every country had. Yes, it has helped to demolish the walls that separated us .Globalization, which is the process of growing interdependence among every country in this planet, can be seen as a sign of hopeful and better future by some, but for others it represents a huge disaster for the whole world. That’s why we are going to see the negative effect that globalization has on culture then focus on the ethical disadvantage it brought, to finally talk about the damage it did to skilled workers.

Globalization is the new notion that has come to rule the world since the nineties of the last century with the end of the cold war. The frontlines of the state with increased reliance on the market economy and renewed belief in the private capital and assets, a process of structural alteration encouraged by the studies and influences of the World Bank and other International organisations have started in many of countries. Also Globalisation has brought in new avenues to developing countries. Greater access to developed country markets and technology transfer hold out promise improved productivity and higher living standard.
Finally, everything in the world has a positive side and a negative side and globalization is one of them. It is up to us the people of the world to maximize the positive aspect of globalization and minimize its negative aspect.
Globalization on a broader scale, is an integration act, involving cultural, mental, political as well as economic aspects of a person, among countries. It is mostly limited to, economic integration, associated with movement of people, exchange of technology and information, trade as well as financial flows. . This is practice is clearly miles ahead, as demonstrated by the ever increasing capital flows in the world economy as well as the level of importance, the world economy has. As a result of globalization, tremendous pressure is on the nations to keep up with its demands and this has had a lot of consequences. Some pundits will tell you that these effects are only economic based,
Globalization’s history is extremely diversified and began during the beginning of civilization. Now we live in a world that is constantly evolving, demanding people to use resources in locations that are very difficult to obtain certain resources. This could make it completely impossible to operate in these specific parts of the world. However, globalization allows people across the world to acquire much needed resources. Globalization creates the opportunity for businesses to take advantage and exploit the ability to take part of their business to a different country. Nevertheless, globalization is part of today’s society and will be involved in virtually all situations.
...together to achieve the development goals of an economy. None of the sectors is self-sufficient. When the two sectors work in unison, the GDP of a nation is increased significantly. Various sectors have been discussed in this paper relating on how the two sectors can work together. These avenues as noted here include security, infrastructure development, promotion of commerce and trade between countries, institutionalization and protection of cottage industries. As seen in this paper, each party has a major role to play in the economy of a country. If one party does not play its part, chances are that the economy of a country will not thrive.

Globalization is one of the main aspects in the 21st century. Globalization has brought the world closer; all the things that are happening nowadays are recognized globally even if they happened locally (Buckley). According to Nayef Al-Rodhan GCSP (Geneva Centre for Security Policy) globalization is not a single word or concept. It contains many other concepts within itself. Globalization is composed of different concepts like incorporation regarding the economics, transmitting information or understandings, stability within beliefs, and other concepts (Al-Rodhan p.3). This paper deals with the definition of Globalization, the advantages and disadvantages of globalization, and based on these information the views that to which extend the globalization is beneficial for majority of the world's population. The concept of globalization has changed the whole shape of the world. It has both its positive and negative impacts on people's life. However, by taking both the advantages and disadvantages into consideration we can find that to a large extend globalization is beneficial for majority of the world's population. With the help of globalization the works that were difficult in past is getting easier in today's environment. People are getting closer to each other, which is a product of globalization. Moreover, the knowledge and informations are being circulated in very good way which is a very good sign for having a good and prosperous life.
