QUESTION SET ONE In 250 words or less, analyze the ADA-related risks associated with terminating Charlie's employment under the circumstances. This situation with Mr. Sheen and Chakra is a bit of a difficult situation. Under the ADA, a person is protected if they enter rehab and are not currently using drugs. Dr. Drew could possibly be violating the ADA with terminating Charlie since he entered rehabilitation that morning. However, prior to entering rehab, Mr. Sheen missed two days without calling off, he was using drugs and could possibly be consider job abandonment. The employer stating direct timeframes could be considered a violation of the ADA and be discrimination against those that have disabilities.
