The hypothesis states that I maintained a positive state of energy balance and this is true because after I did my calculation, my energy balance came out to be positive. The result for my Daily Recommended Intake for calories is 3200 Calories. My average calories intake is 3,142 calories. My average expenditure was 3,193 calories. My calories difference was 7 calories, which leaves my state of energy balance to be in the positive. My theoretical weight change ended up being positive 457.1 and looking at all the physical activity that was done; I would highly recommend that the continue walking exercise that is done at least 60 minutes two times a day will help to support my health and wellbeing. My energy balance in relation to my fitness program was positive meaning that even with the exercise that I did, it did not go over my DRI for calories and there was some left over. Overconsumption of saturated food can lead to obesity and other types of health problems therefore lowering the number are very important for overall health. Alcohol is something that should be taken in moderation up to one drink per day for women and up to two drinks per day for the men therefore, my alcohol intake was adequate. . In conclusion, my diet did meet my personalized MyPlate food guide plan for sugar, and alcohol but it refuted for solid fat like saturated fat.
