Each time I receive a request to write a letter of recommendation for the admission committees, I

challenge the students to explain how this step in their educational endeavor is going to benefit them

and what they’ve got to contribute to the program. Instances are rare where I received a satisfying

answer. Sometimes the students try to persuade me with their half-baked answers. Occasionally, the

students delve into the question; question his or her conscience, and returns with a really good insight.

Such is the case with Applicant. His intelligence is commendable. It is with pleasure that I would like to

recommend Kushank Mishra for the Construction Management Program at your University because I

His performance was beyond my expectations. From the very first day

he got involved into the work and took great care in learning from the literature provided to him, what

most students consider a laborious and dull task and hastily want hands-on action, Kushank took

immense patience and imbibed the pre-requisites very efficiently before delving further into the

research. This reflects his great commitment and honesty towards the task he is assigned to. Not only he

successfully completed his project on time but displayed a keen research aptitude for advanced research

beyond the scope of this project. In every team meeting, I used to ask him about his progress and most

of the times he was at par with my expectations. Always ready with his doubts and suggestions

regarding progress in research work. He is no doubt one of the most hardworking Interns I have

supervised and one could easily say for the inquisitiveness and zeal for learning in him by his attitude

towards his work. I can easily recall his results on ‘Low Temperature Ductility Experiments’ where he got
