Multicultural teams have become significant in today’s world. People are moving from one country to another and have shown significant growth. Although, many of these people are coming from different culture and with different ethnic backgrounds. (Greiner and Poulfelt, 2005:242) what makes multicultural team happen is; cross-culture marriage. People with different ethnic and culture backgrounds are getting married and these generate people to come together. It was very interesting the multicultural teams concept in the lecture and seminar. Even I came across with multicultural team but I haven’t recognize our culture difference and never realized that differences in culture causes division and conflicts between member of team. Culture is primarily formed in the environment of individual childhood home and this point out those individuals brings their preferences culture to the team. The activity involves rescuing ten volunteers, where fire was reaching into the chalet they are in. We had to make decision as individual by ranging from (1) first and (10) last and after discussing in group. As individualism I ranged my decision based what I valued most starting with family with kids. It was very exciting view each other decision or who should be rescued as first. We also had decision to make as group, which reflects collectivisms and it was difficult to come to an agreement.
