Glory to God Church. It is great to be in the house of the Lord. Let Just take the moment to praise him right there because He has be so amazing. He have been better than I have been to myself. He desire honor because he is the head of my life. Thank you Dr. Huzinig for giving us the oppurinity to preach and thank classmates and friends for being here this afternoon I just was thinking about God faithfulness the other day. I took a mission trip to El Salvador with an amazing time to proclaim the Gospel. You know not too many have it made out like us. I telling you most of us take life for granted. Indeed, the “right time” is now. Today is the day of salvation.

Verse one, mention us ask being God Partners. We have to have a communication beyond a simple 15 second snapchat. We have to be in our Word in prayer and have those set out devotional times. You no some us back in elementary and middle school had those we would consider our partner in crime. We will didn’t do any real crime related stuff but we would also be comminuting and hanging out. When we are in a partnership with God it has to be relational. Because we need that his power to help us endure. If as Christians, if we are not effectively touching lives, if we are not missed when we are away, then it is quite possible we have lost that effectiveness that we should have in our passion

4 In everything we do, we show that we are true ministers of God. Recognizing God is a part of our vocation within community can be confusing for us, how can we serve God in the different venues of our life when the world teaches such differing views? We are encouraged to share our witness, testimony, and service within our families, workplace, and our social settings. Family includes the household within our life touching upon each role parent, child, and spouse. It becomes acceptable to compartmentalize the areas of our life and serve in comfortable areas. Consumerism and societal pressures challenge us to withdraw from the Spirit when we feel intimidated, out of place, or even unworthy of God’s involvement in our life. We are called to be “the salt of the earth”, accepting the challenge to unite God’s calling upon our whole-life. According to Migliore, “United in Christ by the power of the Spirit we are one community; we are members of one body and mutually dependent on one another. Recognizing God works with all areas of community unites families, workplace, and social settings together.
In this letter, the author expresses the importance of the recipient to continue testifying his love for Christ and the Church by his actions (3John1:5-8). The author asks the recipient to witness his love to travelers who are coming through his town by helping “them in a way worthy of God to continue their journey” (3John 1:6). John’s third letter highlights the importance of witness by showing those who “imitate good” (3John 1:11) are disciples, because “whoever does what is good is of God” (3John 1:11). The eternal life of Christ is not a fact that the disciple must only announce but also live their lives in a manner which reflects Christ to all they encounter. John calls all disciples to witness the eternal life by “walking in the truth just as we were commanded by the Father” (2John 1:4). “The call is something that is an indescribable joy and an indefinable burden at the same time.” (Bryant and Brunson 2007, 32). There is nothing more rewarding than seeing a congregation of the redeemed moving forward in their faith. However exciting this may be, it is usually not the thrill that propels the pastor in his service. It is the burden placed on the pastor by God that compels him in his work. The pastor understands that he is largely responsible for the work of God being accomplished by his faithfulness to his calling. “All through the Word of God and down through the annals of history, when God has moved it has almost always been attended by the preaching of the Word.” (Bryant and Brunson 2007, 31)

We must unite and seek God in his word and prayer. When we do this he gives us wisdom and power through his spirit. We can then walk blameless in God's sight with his help and then in turn to our neighbor in our time of suffering like Paul and still be effective in the ministry. And that's when our faith is tested for its real quality!

As my friend Jenni and I entered the hall of the big church, a feeling of apprehension overwhelmed us. Our feelings were soon comforted when we entered a sea of smiling faces and outstretched hands. A sense of belonging engulfed us. Ms. Shirley, an older colored woman was first to extend her arms. She did not know us from Adam, but it did not matter. She threw her arms around us. "You girls have the prettiest smiles", she declared. "I am so glad you came to be with us this morning." Words can not describe what the act of kindness did to our feelings of apprehension, and that was just the beginning.

In the General Epistles, we are shown how to follow Jesus in hard times and when it is essential to walk with Him. The General Epistles show us the difficulties of life when dealing with captivity, mistreatment by those of a higher social standing, and racism. Today we have many similar difficulties but they are in the form of working for human glorification, benefitting others who are not in need for our work, and maximizing profits for a company. These scenarios are not for Gods purpose but only for human purposes. The General Epistles also show us how to deal with these difficulties and overcome them in a way that we can be helpful working toward Gods purpose. Trusting that God will provide for us and that we must work to only benefit others

For my observation trip, I decided to visit St. Ignatius Church in Oregon, Ohio. I visited a mass at 11:30 on Sunday November 19. I decided to visit a catholic church because my family has no religious background whatsoever, and I decided that I could go with one of my good friends that way if I need to ask questions, she was there to answer them for me.
I have almost gone into hiding, if you will, from God because I feel that I cannot be forgiven over and over of the same sins. “I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do” (New International Version, Romans 7.15). I realize, however, that in my weakness that Jesus’s power is made perfect. “Therefore, in order to keep me from becoming conceited, I was given a thorn in my flesh, a messenger of Satan, to torment me. Three times I pleaded with the Lord to take it away from me. But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore, I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong” (2 Corinthians 12.7-10). The absence of the fruits of the Spirit in my life inhibits the kingdom of God in my life in that His power is not fully noticed in my actions and character. Being in Christ and belonging to His kingdom sets me apart from the world and so I am to live for Him and serve him while seeking His kingdom first. More people are there for the actual sermon I feel, because a lot of people don’t understand true praise and worship. What I have come to learn is Praise and worship, is a cleansing and realization of self, and what God has done for you and is not intended to be a “feel good” experience. This is a perfect example of how some worship experiences have been dumbed down to appease the masses. The worship experience should open our minds. It ought to go against the “character” offf a culture that takes for granted God and praise. Praise and worship is a different kind of relationship, which exists between man and God, a relationship of complete adoration and praise. Far too often, in this emerging new culture, we want to treat God as friend, and not as creator and sustainer. Humans are flawed fleshly beings, therefore whenever in the true presence of God a transformation from old to new should occur. We should feel so convicted about our transgressions until we have an earnest desire to change. The flesh dies and slowly loses control of our lives, leaving the Holy Spirit to
