Communication is the process of sharing information, thoughts and ideas through speaking or writing. An effective communication is when someone sends you a message and it is easily understood and received by another. Robbins & Judge (2009) point out that communication must include both the transfer and understanding of meaning. Furthermore, any idea, no matter how great, is useless unless it is fully understood by others (p.351).
Small Group Networks
Small group network communication refers to interactions among three or more people who are connected through a common purpose, mutual influence, and a shared identity. Conclusion
In conclusion, I think that, online, face to face and finding someone that understand the language are other good ways of communication. As a leader it is good to have good communication skills and it is also a good way to build good relationships with other people. I plan to be an effective leader by taking the appropriate actions to improve my communication skills. I plan to be an effective and ethical communicator by further educating myself in this area and practicing verbal, nonverbal, and active listening skills that I learned in this class and as leader to get better at communicating. I also believe at times we get so comfortable with our way of thinking that we as leaders have to take a step back and find a different way to communicate on getting the message out instead of being stuck in our own ways of doing things.
