Introduction

Australia would be a great country for JHAL Trader Company to enter. With the great business environment there and the strong USD dollar, it seems profitable for JHAL to make Australia a new sales territory. JHAL imports their products from China, Japan and Korea, so with Australia’s proximity to these countries, costs may go down significantly when expanding into Australia.
Even though Australia is relatively far away from the United States, their business cultures are similar. This is good because it would not be hard for sales executives to assimilate into the Australian culture. It is a good opportunity for JHAL to expand without too much concerns.
Australia should definitely be considered as a new sales territory. However, another analysis on the political environment should be done before entering the market. Because of its close distance and relationship with China, all products should be shipped from China to Australia, and a storage facility in China should be considered as well.

They are also not very formal when it comes to language, it can be very colorful and unacceptable in other countries. When it comes to clothing, they can be conservative with men wearing dark business suit and tie, and women wear a dress, or skirt and blouse.
