Its also about the deaths of black people being killed by (the people that are supposed to be protecting us) police officers, and small issues of racial profiling, and racial inequality in the United States criminal justice system. This young man did nothing to harm anyone but yet and still he became one of the numbers of young man lost due to police brutality. Not all people are good and Not all cops are good. Chief Magnus’ position on racial bias, which plagues many police departments, caused outrage, for Chief Magnus decided to join in on the recent movement of “Black Lives Matter”, by hold up a protestor’s sign that says, “Black Lives Matter”. Chief Magnus’ statement, by holding a “Black Lives Matter” sign during a demonstration, shocked the community and the nation, but brought the communities’ ideals of justice in line with his own ideals.
