“Hush” is a popular episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. This is due to the twenty-nine minutes of the characters not speaking because their voices are taken away. The characters see the value of communication to solve their issues. Buffy the Vampire Slayer is related to real life problems such as insecurities and weaknesses. Some of these insecurities and weaknesses involved are identitiesidentity, relationships, and responsibilitiesduties. Also, adolescence because it is a time of growing and realizations. They mature through their experiences and battles of everyday life. and fighting. This occurs in a place called Sunnydale ,where during this time of the episode which monsters lurk around and are hunted. She has awkward conversations with him. She admits it to Willow when having a conversation about Riley. In addition, she gets nervous ,and lies, and makes excuses mainly due to her secret identity. Riley also having a secret identity contradicts the communication between them. always in mind. It holds her back, meanwhile Riley having a secret identity too. They both want to be comfortable and open to tell each other. They want to progress their relationship, but they do not confess or say how they really feel is happening or what to do. At the end of the episode, Riley tells Buffy “I guess we have to talk” and she agrees. The lack of communication is the problem here and the awareness of it shows that it is an obstacle in their relationship that has to be solved with talking to better understand each other and go
