These issues are a responsibility for the universities and the students. What is more, university life is a critical period for the students in their higher education. However, this period is full of obstacles and challenges that may affect the students adjustment academically and socially in their new life. As well, these issues affect on the academic achievement for students especially International students since it is entirely different culture than their home country. One of the first adjustment problems and the most important one is English language proficiency, improving the English language by studying hard, motivation, adopt with group work, and ask the teacher for help when something is unclear will help the students to adjust. Also, the university can help its international students to improve their language by supporting them and provide excellent instructors, awareness programs about university life, counseling and advising programs. These strategies let the student communicate and involve more with the domestic student, residents, and the new community.
